Faith Community
Faith communities play a critical role in the anti-genocide movement. As long as mass atrocities have occurred, individuals and religious organizations have provided relief and used the power of prayer, protest and persuasion to sway governments and combatants alike. In the United States and abroad, we are working hard to help congregations, faith leaders and faith-based organizations pursue a better future for anyone facing mass atrocity or genocide. For more information on our faith initiatives, please contact Joe Maddens.
Diaspora & Survivor Communities
The powerful voices of people who have survived genocide or mass atrocities are critical in our fight to end genocide once and for all. United to End Genocide works maximize survivors’ voices, working closely with Diaspora and survivor communities in the United States and in countries affected by crises.
Community Activists
Local activists around the country are leaders in the anti-genocide movement and in their communities. From planning fundraisers and film screenings to advocating for legislation in Congress, community activists are the motivating force behind this movement. Attend an event and meet anti-genocide activists in your area.
Carl Wilkens Fellowship
Seeking to bridge the gap between thought and action in the anti-genocide movement, the goal of the Carl Wilkens Fellowship is to develop effective leaders in communities across the United States who have acquired the skills and fostered the relationships necessary to shape US policies on genocide.
Creative Community
The members of United to End Genocide’s creative community are making art that raises awareness about current mass atrocities. Our creative community forum is a place to share artwork with fellow activists from around the world.
